COUNTRY OAK LONGCASE c1770 This working clock is made in Oak. The hood has door pillars with brass capitals. The dial is ENGRAVED and SILVERED and has a date apeture. It has brass spandrels to each corner. This is a 30 hour clock and would have been wound daily by the rope and single weight inside the trunk door. ENGLISH EBONY LONGCASE - c1710 This working clock is made in ebony. The hood has door pillars with brass capitals and a fretwork panel above the door. The hood lifts off to show the brass face with spandrels and an engraved and silvered chapter ring. The hands are an exact copy of the original and work off a battery watch movement. This magnificent arch dial longcase clock is made in cedar wood. The hood has a crested top with brass finnials, diamond inlay, side windows and pillars with brass capitals. The hood lifts off to reveal the arch with makers name engraved in a brass boss with dolphin spandrels. The chapter ring is engraved and silvered as is the seconds dial. There are brass urn spandrels to the corners. The hands are made to match the originals. The trunk door has inlaid marquetry with fan inlay. There is a brass escutcheon with key.
